Use Case: The user needs to change the language of the Zoom MacOS desktop app.
Problem: The user expects to find the language switch function in the app’s settings. However, when they navigate to the settings, they do not spot any language switch option available. In the “General” tab the user clicks “View more settings”, expecting it to be hidden there. The user gets redirected to an extended version of the profile settings in a browser and finally finds a language switch function there. However, the language switch does not apply to the Zoom desktop app. The user tries searching the function in the app again, but even using the search bar they cannot find it. This inconsistency confuses the user: the app lacks an obvious path to built-in language switch, and the function in the extended settings does not affect the app's language.
In reality, to activate the language switch function in the Zoom desktop app, the user must perform a right-click on the Zoom icon.
