Log out of an account

Use Case: The user wants to log out of their Telegram account.

Problem: In the settings tab, the user is unable to find the log-out option. Despite exploring different tabs and searching for the function, they cannot locate it. The log-out function is actually hidden within the ‘Edit’ section, which is not immediately obvious to the user. This placement makes the log-out function difficult to find and access, causing frustration and confusion.

Best Practice: Optimal solution is represented by the Android version of Telegram. Users can easily find the logout function by navigating to profile section and tapping kebab-menu, where prominent logout button is located. This approach matches user expectations.
